Marmorino

Marmorino, or “little marble” in Italian, is a traditional Italian finish used as far back as Roman times but made popular during the Italian Renaissance. It is made from crushed marble and limestone and can be tinted in just about any color. It is matte to satin in appearance and can be applied to give a variety of textures and effects. The movement in the plaster gives a more subtle mottled appearance. Traditional Marmorino is one of the most popular Venetian plaster finishes today, as it’s classical stone, and naturalness is difficult to surpass. This traditional Italian finish will dramatically enhance any decorating project and is suitable for any decor.
