Archways

Archways are an easy way to increase the value and visual appeal of your home. An archway will soften the edges and add interest to any wall opening or entryway. We offer three different styles of arches:

Soft Archways – When you just need a subtle curve, consider our soft arches. They’re also known as eyebrow or segmented arches because their shape resembles a segment of a circle.

Half-Circle Archways – As the name implies, Half-Circle arches are half of a circle. This beautiful rounded look is reminiscent of Mediterranean architecture.

Elliptical Archways – Elliptical arches are kind of like a combination of the soft and half circle arches. They’re subtle in the middle and have a more extreme curve in the corners.

Coved Ceilings

Coved ceilings soften the edges around your walls and create a more seamless transition from wall to ceiling, giving your room a more graceful and elegant appearance. Coved ceilings can also be combined with crown molding to create a luxurious and elegant architectural detail, or you can forgo the molding and let the beauty of these curves stand on its own.

Each cove ceiling we install is custom tailored to your specs, there are 4 different ways to install a cove ceiling. You can choose to have a cove with no reveal, top reveal, bottom reveal, or top and bottom reveal. These choices allow you to add an additional accent or molding to either the wall and/or ceiling. You can also choose the radius of the cove. Cove ceilings offer a way to make an impact in any room without changing the shape of the entire ceiling.

Pop-Up Tray Ceilings

A tray ceiling is a architectural feature that is either inverted or recessed. Tray ceilings can be plain, ornate, subtle or dramatic. Tray ceilings are often found in dining rooms, hallways and living rooms. The basic purpose of a tray ceiling is to break up an ordinary flat ceiling line and add a variation in height to create architectural interest. A feeling of spaciousness can be created by the look of the different levels and the tray design can make a low ceiling look higher. Inverted tray ceilings that have the extra level hanging downward rather than recessed, can call attention to an object such as a range hood or a pot rack.

We can design and build a wide variety of tray ceilings, your only limit is your imagination. If you have an idea for a tray ceiling, we can probably build it. We offer free, no obligation consultations. We will listen to all your ideas, thoughts and concerns to help you realize your vision.

Barrel Vault Ceilings

The barrel vault is extremely simple in design, but it can make a huge impact in any room. It is formed using a constant radius along a ceiling, resembling the inside of a barrel. A barrel vault can be framed into your attic space, or it can be framed underneath your joists and trusses. Each barrel vault we install is custom tailored to your specs, It will all depend on the severity of the curve you need to get your desired effect, you choose the radius style that best suits your application.

Soft Radius – When you just need a subtle curve, consider our soft radius, also known as a eyebrow or segmented radius because it’s shape resembles a segment of a circle. The soft vault has less of a drop to the lowest point of the arch and takes up less room making it a good choice if you are framing it underneath your joists and trusses of an existing ceiling.

Half-Circle Radius – As the name implies, half-circle vaults are half of a circle. This beautiful rounded look is reminiscent of Mediterranean architecture.

Elliptical Radius – Elliptical vaults are kind of like a combination of the soft and half circle radius. They’re subtle in the middle and have a more extreme curve in the corners, also a good choice if you are framing it underneath your joists and trusses of an existing ceiling.

Dome Ceilings

A ceiling dome is a hollow upper half of a sphere. If you want people’s jaws to drop when they enter your home or business then a ceiling dome is the solution for you. A ceiling dome has the ability to transform the look of any room, they’re often used to add a dramatic flair to entryways, dining rooms and master bathrooms.

Each ceiling dome we install will be custom tailored to your specs. Most of the time domes are framed flush with your ceiling and rise up into your attic space, but in some cases like framing under a second floor or under existing joists and trusses, we can soften the radius and adjust the rise of the dome to fit almost any space.
